Second coat of Gloss Almond on the cab and rear window. Third and final coat in 24 hours. Then on Monday I'll start 3 coats of a Rustoleum approximation of 1976 GM Skyline Blue on the body.

Your alignment guy is gonna LOVE you for not having the inner fenders in the way He's gonna set the caster along with the camber and toe....right?

I've been there at my brother's shop years ago and it'll definitely be easier! Ha! Yes caster currently at +4.75 degrees (driver and passenger) and camber is about +0.5 to +1.0 (driver and passenger) and toe is driveway decent. KPI & SIA is good. No pulling or weird feelings in the steering either. Checked the alignment on turn plates with bubble gauge prior to requesting +6 degrees caster and -0.5 degrees camber for both sides along with 1/16th toe both sides. Centered steering wheel of course! Ha!

Tidying up the exhaust, adding V bands, wideband, gauge cluster under the dash for wideband, temp, and oil pressure, and whatever else I want to do. Then will be swapping it for his late brothers dart to do the exhaust on it and get it on the road.

Wow, you've had quite the B-body process going on! Shame about the '68, that could be a really sweet car with another $15-20k dumped into it to get the body up to snuff but that bronze '69 is super nice! I love that color, hopefully he'll get it painted and done soon

I put plates at all of the rear spring hanger locations, I think it will be sufficient. These are quite old, I did this back in 2022. Now I need to get all the sheet metal work done on this slow project.

Very nice! How much of a pita was the crossmember removal? Going to remove mine as well because it's right behind that between the two hanger mounting points on the drivers side. Plus what size grade 10 hardware did you use for the crossmember bracket reinstall? If you could remember that would be super helpful, but if you can't it's not a problem. Hell I can't remember what I've had for lunch later in the day at times lol.
