These were used to solve micro-leaks from the factory.

I had a couple of head studs dripping on a new build. Apparently, the builder didn't seal them up well enough. I dropped in 2 tabs and after about 100 miles of driving, the leaks are gone.

The last job my grandfather did before retiring from the Wentzville GM plant was dropping those in radiators.

Hehe we used those in all the ht4100 caddy engines back in the 80s, they ALL leaked at the cylinder sleeves.
