Does anyone know if the TV cable retainer clip is still available? O'Reilly and Auto Zone did not have anything close. I believe the same clip is used to attach the accelerator cable to the carb. I may have blown the thing off with a blast of compressed air while blowing out the engine bay since it wasn't laying on the intake manifold. I have a piece of wire wrapped around the groove in the shaft but I don't feel comfortable with that.

TV cable clip is built on to the cable. IDK what you are dealing with.

Rick, that Dorman clip is exactly what I need. My accelerator cable is retained on the carb shaft with that clip the same way as the TV cable. I'll order a few from Summit. Thanks

After spending about 3 hours on the PC and phone, I ran across an interesting site (https://mall.hollowshire.com) which is worth checking out and playing with. My search was "throttle rod retaining clip" and then I tried "alternator" "brake master cylinder", etc. Evidently they sell many different kinds of items (like a mall) at very good prices. I can't vouch for the quality as I am waiting for the clips.

I hope you receive your purchase, to me that site smells of scam.

Not exactly giving me the warm fuzzies.
