This ten fold. Here in AZ with our 6" of rain a year, they are rusted out and you have to fabricate patches for themI've never known it's purpose other than to collect dirt/debris and rust out before the rest of the inner fender does. IDK why GM did that

I actually looked it up online for Phoenix and they said a larger amount that I thought couldn't be true so I picked 6 inches.
