In all seriousness, weren't some of the performance variants painted orange?

1 & 3 are damaged for sure. Personally I think 3 has been bad since before I got it. All the damage is carboned over an would explain my blow by issues. I got cyl 1 though for sure lol.

Nah just forged pistons, mds delete/cam, headers. I can't go to crazy because then it'll spit out the trans or tcase next or maybe a diff :doh2:

Bought everything but the pistons today an dropped the main parts off at the machine shop. Now the waiting begins.

I'm late to the party but I skimmed through. That sux. I've often thought about a sport sedan too but I always ended up with trucks or SUV's for the family rides and if I got a sedan it ended up being a Yota 4cyl ricer for mpg and reliability. Which I didn't have for a long time. Then a 2006 Corolla came to the tow auction and just needed a fender. Only 130,000 miles, super clean and a ton of oil change, tire rotation and brake reciepts in the glove box. So I bought that thing about 3 years ago for just under $2000. Still driving it today and tearing it up really. All these trips hauling stuff back and forth from the off grid to the city. I need to quit it and get me an economical truck. Clean this car up and give it my mom since she's vehicless right now after an accident over a year ago. BUT, I'd love to have a CAD CTSV. I don't even care, 2 door, 4 door I'd even do a wagon and that would be cool as hell. YES, CAD CTSV does come in a wagon too. I'd drive the piss out of it. And just cus noone expects a Cad to have a manual transmission, especially a wagon, I'd take it in the 6 speed too even though the Auto is quicker. It's been proven. They traded drivers and the whole 9 yards, The 6 speed couldn't beat the Auto and that broke my heart cuz I love manual transmissions. And for those who don't know, CAD CTSV has the same powertrain as Corvettes and Camaro ZL1. Deyz Fast !!! Pffft, even 2016 or 17 model still sells for over 40K so I'll never have one.

But hey, Good luck getting the Dodge fixed. Then cars run too and I prefer yours over a Challenger any day. But not dealing with Dodge very much since I quit wrenching full time, but learning some now. My daughter has a 2012 2500 Dodge truck with a Hemi. It's got the famous, or infamous lifter tick going on now. 220,000 miles so it's time for something to go wrong. Still runs just missing on 1 cylinder and she keeps driving it like an idiot IMO. I told her, park it and lets get it fixed. Prolly going to need a cam and lifters, yu keep driving it, and run metal all through the bearings and cyclinders, it's going to need a whole engine.

Still waiting on machine shop. Put some lowering parts on today. Gonna do the rear tomorrow. Engine being out is the opportune time to do upper arms in this chassis for sure.

That spring compressor is so much nicer than the old hook style. Made easy work of it an it was like $34.
