The jeep is a 2017. It's 100% the fault of the blower/tune/fuel an nothing to do with the reliability of it. 11:1 compression, thin pistons, boost and detonation dont play nice together.

I knew it was a time bomb, I was betting it had more time lol.

It actually still runs so ya dont low ball me :Stupid Me:

I think im fair on what I want for it. There's room to fix it an not be upside down, for someone who can do a good portion of the work themselves. Of course all I'm getting currently is people offering 10k :disgust:

It actually runs decent enough that I bet if I replace those 2 plugs for cyl 1 you'd barely be able to tell if you didn't know what 600hp was supposed to be lol.

Giving this one more day then I guess I'll fix it the stupid thing. :bawl:

I know I was looking for someone specific who really wanted one of these an could do the work. I really think I was priced fair but the joys of marketplace say otherwise. I think the best offer I've gotten was 19500. Most have been 10k an a occasional 15k.

It books for 34k last time I checked. Procharger kit is 8k, exhaust is 1800. I have been looking for deals, checking the web etc and parts (with forged pistons only, cam and mds/vvt delete) machine shop labor if it need honed and tuning at like 6500. Even if someone charged 2k to r&r the engine for you its still a deal to me. I started my listing at 26 figuring I'd take 24. That gives you 10k under value to fix it, PLUS 10k in aftermarket parts on it already.

I guess I'm just a dummy but after the cash I put down on it I can't just give it away at more than half the value because it needs a 7k fix.

Dang man, that's a bummer. It's hard to move stuff right now in general it feels like, let alone a hurt vehicle. I can't even seem to get reasonable offers on parts I'm selling lately

Have you thought about parting it out?

19.5 seems like a generous offer to me.

The economy is what it is, that's no longer the newest, coolest thing, not going to command big dollars now.

If you don't have a need to sell it, just push it aside and set aside some money now and again until you can afford the fix and go back to enjoying the car.

If you do need to sell it, it is what it is I suppose, the bath you take on lightly used performance cars, with mods, is why I personally punched out of the new Mustang every three years latest/greatest version loop 15 years ago. How much of a loss you eat when you don't just keep them to the bitter end hurt me one too many times lol.

Well, the other day I bought lowering springs and adjustable front upper and rear billet aluminum control arms for this thing. That should help me in my goal of getting it back on the road right?

That was actually my next planned mod before I broke it, found it all on MP for a crazy deal. The front arms an springs have 10k miles or so on them. The rears were never installed. Just need the toe links for the rear an it'll be set.

I started yesterday on the engine, I went ahead an got everything underneath so no pictures, couldn't get it super high. Front driveshaft, exhaust, starter flywheel an most of the bellhousing bolts are out.

I sold my 68 C10 today so that will help a ton towards getting this thing back on the road

1 & 3 are damaged for sure. Personally I think 3 has been bad since before I got it. All the damage is carboned over an would explain my blow by issues. I got cyl 1 though for sure lol.
