His replacement cab is a power brake cab though, so he doesn't need to worry about that.
Did not know he had done a cab swap. Thanks.

And a booster filter.
This caused me to go pop the hood on my Sub. Sure enough, booster filter. Looks like I'll be sourcing one since I kinda think I hooked my peepers on that filter at some point but never knew it needed periodic replacement. Like the fuel filter I 'discovered' on the frame rail, still learning things 32 years into ownership of the truck.

Post number 8 shows a filter between the booster and the vac source. Get one, it keeps gasoline vapor from deteriorating the booster bladder

There is on my 85 K20 Suburban. Passenger side, just aft of the front door. Have owned it for 32 years and just 'discovered' it several months ago...

Well, Ralph being an 85 that had esc and boatload of now long since fell off vacuum “towers”… I’ll look Monday or Tuesday. Have to swap carb/swingarm off a “locked up tighter than a convent gate” 800 Drifter onto 1 with a cracked swingarm and grenaded carb… Memphis area roads suck.
