While still not finished an traffic generally still sucks regardless, it is much better than it has been in the last couple of years, especially the cherokee county section.
It's been a while since I've been through there. Didn't really plan to avoid it till I woke up Thursday morning, checked traffic and there were 3 different sections where the road had been shut down and re-routed or just accidents. That's when I made the call to go back roads

Got some help from my son today. Visiting from Tennessee. Mirrors installed, Window regulator, Wing vent and Window installed on the passenger side, and mirror on the drivers side awaiting parts to finish. I thought I had bought window seal, not!!

battery needs replaced. 13.5V charging, but read 12.1 and slow starts. I put it on the Battery Minder for 24 hours and still says weak battery. Cheap local NEW after-market battery ($90 for 960CA top/side mounts). Typically last 4-5 yrs. 1 year short. Earlier this year I did swap out the ALT to BAT cable.

Replaced the dead GE363 bulbs for the aftermarket gauges with some LED alternatives. Super bright, now I can see the oil pressure and coolant temp at night. Finally got the cold start high idle set after like a week. Might actually do a led swap of the dash lights now.

Used it as a shooting platform. :D Loaded up the wife, daughter, rifle (just a 22), pumpkin and some weird gourd thing, drove out to a field and had a blast. Then later went thru the Blazer to find all the ejected shells.

lol, no. I picked the .22 so we could shoot the pumpkin many times and not traumatize the girls who haven’t shot that much. Figured using the M1 Garand with its 30-06 rounds would destroy the pumpkin with 1 shot, making for a short afternoon!

Pumpkin is shot full of holes and lays in the field for the deer to eat.

Targets that are food for the forests denizens is an awesome thing! Beats leaving cans, litter or glass around, brilliant sir!

Agree in principle, and I don't want to sound like a bunny hugger. But I'm wondering how much lead is in that food.

Should go right on through I would imagine. Shotgun lead is another story.

I remember the first time I shot anything with any real power, I think I was ~10-11 and was at some camp my parents had signed me up for. They had target shooting (non-moving) and my dad grabbed a 12ga for me to try. Blew my little ass right on the ground

Installed a license plate light from vatozone. Didn't want to drill any new holes in the bumper so this one because it uses the holes for the plate.
