Type of wheel doesn't matter in this case. The gmt 400 trucks used wheels with a smaller center bore. A wheel with a smaller bore to fit that tire hanger ain't gonna fit the truck.

Personally when I’ve come across a matching spare wheel for a truck, I mount that mfer loud and proud in the truck bed! Especially a nice truck like that, that ain’t getting loaded with gravel, lumber or tools every day….or ever.
