New member from Florida here. Don't have a truck, but do have a trailer made from one, hope that doesn't disqualify me. My brother used to have an '86 4x4 and I always liked the look. Anyway, I picked up a homemade trailer from a 74 C-10 LWB on FB marketplace; it was converted a long time ago and apparently used on a farm so it's pretty rough. So far replaced a tire and will need to work on the tailgate next. Will likely initially use it too haul a couple loads of scrap metal and then maybe the occasional load of mulch or other gardening items for the wifey's 30x50' garden, might haul a little firewood and so on. Good to be here!! Will try to get a decent photo next time I'm up to the property it's kept at.

As long as YOU didn't make it a trailer lol. I've had a couple, still have one and looking to get one more for sure if not maybe two. They are popular in my area and don't require registration.

Thanks to all for the welcome responses. Here is a pic. Conversion to trailer was done a long time ago by some previous owner. Not bad for rust on side shown, other side has some areas rusted thru. A few good "whiskey" dents and tailgate is beat up but it's solid and not rusted thru anywhere. Second photo is from drivers side of frame. Assume the 4-15-74 numbers are date the frame was made? What about the numbers above it? Thanks in advance, Dave

Welcome from the Tarheel State. I don't have any Square bed trailer but do have a LB 67-72 that I use on the farm behind my tractor

What about the numbers above it?
Most likely the last six numbers of the original truck vin. Most SB eight foot bed trucks, the frame drops down after front of the bed. Are the "A" frame parts bent to the coupler?

So when are you getting the Square body truck to pull it?

The frame was notched and bent inward and then more steel added. Don't think it was also bent up to counter a drop, doesn't appear so but maybe I'll take closer look. Not looking for a Square body truck right now, got enough work on my hands with other non-vehicle projects!!
