Let me ask you guys this, if the door seals are beat and compressed down, and the doors are adjusted to close tight enough to keep out the rain, then wouldn't fresh door seals installed, and readjusted doors make them close like they are supposed to. Because the new seals bulb will be nice and fresh and seal better? Know what I mean?

Black tape works too and no removal of parts.

You don't remove any parts to do this either. If it takes you over 10 minutes to the first door and 5 more minutes to do the 2nd door, maybe you shouldn't be working on trucks. :roflbow: Just saying, its that easy. :grd:

Pex. Its plastic household water line. Just go into Lowes or Home Depot in the plumbing section and tell them you need a piece of 1/2 pex, they'll know. Did you check out the thread? I posted pics.

C'mon guys! We aren't seriously griping about having to screw out one bolt (that's about as easy to get to as can be, slide a bushing over it, then screw it back in. :shitsweak:

You don't even have to unscrew the bolt if you do the pex slip over. It takes all of 15 minutes to do 2 doors. It will take you longer to go to Lowes or Home Depot to get the stick of plumbing. For me its not a matter of the work, its the matter of funds. Sure its only $10 a new strike or $20 per truck, but I have 4 trucks, so instead of spending $80 + shipping, I'll spend the $3 and do all the trucks in a matter of 30 minutes.

Yah, I seen it at Home Depot, I been doing some plumbing at home and in my parts travels the one sales guy showed me the stuff. They got red Pex.

Red and Blue are common to what I've seen in homes. I do beleive the Red and the Blue just depict the size of the pex whether it be 1/2 or 3/4 and then there is white obviously, and I think black is 1 inch but not common in households. I'm not positive on the colors thing, but yes its colored too.

Red would match my Burb perfectly if it is the right size. :)
