If you haven't done this yet it is a must. WOW what a difference. Doors are a lot easier to shut now and don't raddle when hit bumps. Got from LMC and worth every penny.

Damn it, something else I want to spend money on now. Do they latch shut easier? I got to slam the **** out of my doors to close them fully. I hate doing it. Sounds like a fuggin coffin lid slamming shut, wakes up the whole neighborhood. If I adjust the strikers out then the door seals start to leak. :shitsweak:

Yeah, I noticed a huge difference when I did mine. No more slamming. No more rattling.

Guys, Guys, Guys, WTF??? Don't go spending money on that ****. I've got a thread in here how to fix your doors permanently for about $2. Get you some Pex from Lowe's or Home Depot. I'll find the thread and bump it. All my doors work perfect, and shut tighter than an ugly redheaded 5th grader.

Not really. For $3 I fixed 3 of my trucks. 6 doors total. I still have enough of the stuff left to fix about 20 more doors. If the stuff wasn't so cheap, I'd mail you guys the pieces, but for the price of postage, you can buy a stick of it yourself.

The bushings are only $1 from classic parts. I kept the old bolt and just added the new bushing. No need to replace the bolt. If you order it with other stuff to offset the shipping, it's still only $1 per door.

If you have to slam your doors, it's possible your hinge pins and bushings need to be replaced.

Nah, they line up just fine, no play up and down. I think my plastic sleeves are still good on my strikers, I got to go look now....

If the reason you have to slam your doors cuz they are sagging, then yes this is true. But, the striker bushing is the most common problem.
