That was exactly my plan. The motor has headers but they are HUGE and idk if I can get them to fit. They go to like a 4 or 5 inch out.
You might be surprised.

I don't know what kind of budget you are on. That in and of itself is probably the most pertaining question. But definitely start with mounts and getting the block in the truck.

The babies hook wide. They probably aren't gonna go. But get your block in and see how much room you have. If they don't fit....start hunting some manifolds. Maybe you can get super lucky and find some ram horns.

The thing is I feel like it’s gonna have to be torn completely apart. It’s snaps your neck when in shift, it’s super delayed putting it into drive and reverse and clunks when you do, and it shift into third at like 50...
Sounds to me like its low on fluid, that could be the delay in going into gear.

The neck snap, and late 2nd to 3rd shift may be a bad or out of adjustment vacume modulator.

Check all the mounts and ujoints whule you have it apart. I bet you will find that clunk. [emoji106]

I would think the starter and alternator wiring wouldnt change much. Other than that you should just need a hot wire for the hei/coil.

Umm stock, solid, urethane? Big block is big block regardless of displacement. And you never told me the year of the block.
Not sure the year. And what type do you recomend?
