Will a tilt steering wheel with blade fuses work in glass fuse truck, non tilt

I have no tilt steering, which is annoyingly high. And it has glass fuses(1980, not sure on last year)

In the yard I found a square body chevy steering column, I would do work, clean it up, make sure wires are good since it was sitting outside, of course. I dont care about the prettiness of the plastic(which im sure I could buy).

But no sense in doing that work if I cant swap it easily

I think as long as all the stuff is in the same spot it would work. i.e. wipers on the dash, not the column, etc. But check the thread above to see compatibility

Also to point out, manual transmission and both steering shafts contain no gear shift(I think some shifted on tree)
