I've owned my '74 C1500 for a few months now and am starting the tear down process. I'm gonna do some light modifications to the 350 engine. The goal for this truck is to be a beater/work truck.
What would you guys suggest for the wheels? should I stick with whats on it

or move to something like a cragar D window or similar?

I'm not looking to spend a fortune on rims so used, Jeg or Summit knockoffs are being considered as well.
What do you guys think? Any other suggestions if I decide to ditch the wheels that are on it?

If it's just going to be a work truck just clean that wheel up and spray a fresh coat of paint on it. :waytogo: It will look good once done :)

You could paint those wheels and get a set of Chevy center caps. That would look nice and clean.
