having a super hard time figureing this out... called summing for wheels studs gave them the year of the truck

1985 chevy k10 pickup and he said ok got them i will send them out... gave the info where to send alll that jaz and 3 days later i get them..... and to my surprize there the wrong ones

Manufacturer's Part Number 8050 Part Number MSR-8050

Wheel Stud Style Press-in Wheel Stud Thread Size 7/16-20 in. RH Knurl Diameter (in.) 0.480 in. Underhead Length (in) 2.875 in.

put them in the hub and its like old times tossing the old foot ball down the hallway

so does anyone know a long press in wheel stud for a 85 chevy k10

due to the after market rims are a little thicker and the safety guy doing my truck will not pass the truck because the wheels studs are to short

:help:

Front or rear? Or both I'm guessing. The front uses different studs, those ones will be harder to find since the knurl has to go through the rotor and into the hub. The knurl on the rear just has to go in the axle flange, since the drum slides over the top.

YOu need to go down to your local auto parts store and have them get out the Dorman book then find the orginal wheel stud in it in the picture guide and and then find th one that is longer with the right thread and knurl. It is a pain in the ass but ive done it hundreds of times when i worked at Oreilly Auto Parts.

If she can't look them up, Grab the paper catalog and look them up yourself.
