Do you happen to remember if it had one large, circular blue light for the high beams setting, or two smaller, circular lights?

I remember a blue light.

I believe the 89-91 speedos had a 7 character odometer instead of 6.

I was counting the tenths character.

So was I.
5 for miles and 1 for tenths, 6 total. I bought my '89 Jimmy with 5k miles showing on the odometer when it actually had 105k. I bought it off Sheriffs Department(Riverside County, Ca if I recall) and they said that they could no longer use the vehicle for traffic violations as the odometer did not show "actual mileage". The glovebox was filled with probably a hundred monthly speedometer certifications for accuracy.

Then it may just be the electric speedos in 90-91 but I'm 99% sure they displayed 100k.

Not sure which trucks they came on specifically, but I know for a fact that I have seen clusters that have an extra digit for over 100k miles on super late squares. @Old77 has a '91 crew cab with the extra digit if my memory is correct

My '91 has the extra digit and so did my '90 parts rig. And I'm pretty sure my '89 K-5 did not have it, but that was 24 years ago. I think the extra digit coincides with the 1 mph increment marks on the speedo - pretty sure those were just in '90 and '91 as well.
