A loaded 91 crew cab with 454, 4l80e, 5.38's, 6~8" lift (custom springs) & maybe some 36's. add some factory power mirrors, front bucket seats from a k5 or sub, a really nice medium blue paint job and a big stereo.

Yes, Very similar to my choice #3. Only reason it's #3, is I'd like to do somme heavy trail wheeling, and they are awful long and can't go some places I'd like to go. Since I'd have to go ECM anyway, I'd prefer to go Votec SFI Fuel Injection over the TBI in this type of truck. And the newer generation BBC with a bit tighter tolerances.

I'd rock the **** outta Evils CC. And tan interior is my least favorite too. He has his down with the Tan/Brown combo and I'd that before I'd red or blue interior. Still wouldn't give up the Gray to have it though. His truck is gonna be ass.

So was that one crew cab that the guy was having built and he lost interest in it. That truck is a mind blower with the **** they were doing to it. And he only wants $10K for where it's at now in the build and If I had the $10K, I'd buy it. No corners were cut.

If something ever happens to the Duramax to take it off the road. I will be buying it back and use it to build one of my thoughts of the ultimate Squarebody. The engine and 6 speed manual transmission will be going in it, along with the rear axle to get disc brakes and a full floating rear.

That would be a cool build too.

i am building my ultimate crew cab http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2329

90 crew cab
89 to 91 gmc quad headlight grill
cut to short bed
cowl induction hood
lots of under body rust prevention
96 to 20012 dodge flame red maybe black two tone stripe
red interior buckets front/rear with center fold down console seat
front seats will have heated seats
power windows/locks
remote start
tinted windows
6'' or 8'' lift undecided
not sure on wheels modern or old school but it will have 35'' tires
96 vortec 383 4l80/205
dana 60 front
14 bolt rear disc brake
rear mounted blazer 31 gallon tank

my build plan has changed a little during the build so not alot is set in stone.
the 383 is built and sitting in the truck and some red paint has been sprayed and the axles are a sure thing. so its hard to say how it will end up depends what goodies i find or decide i want.

only thing i think i would change if money was no option would be the motor a 400 horse 6.0 would be my choice

Im new to squarebodies but I for dam sure would want a truck I dont have to smog here in the communist republic of Kalifornia,,,,,so it would be a 75 or older squarebody,,,and it would have a thunderin big block and the strongest axles avail,,,military or otherwise,,,,,and prob no flat military tires on what 16.5 wheels,,,,and i'd rather have a suburban,,,,I've always wanted a K5 since i was a kid but didnt know bout burbans,,,mine got a front bench seat and it legally seats 9 people with seat belts,,,bitchen,,,,,

Outside of burbans for doomsday I'd want one of them duce and a half military trucks with the variable fuel diesel engines, they run on motor oil, used tranny fluid, gasoline, kerosene, deisel fuel,,,,bitchen,,,and i'd have to have a browning 50 cal mounted on top for the zombies,,,,,

Seriously they call my burban zombie killer at work,,,,,lol

I'd love to have a Multi Fuel Duece. I hear those things will run on **** and piss provided you've let it sit and rot long enough.

Just don't put aviation fuel in them lol. My M1028 runs on used motor oil and transmission fluid as long as kerosine and heating oil. In my line of work I get alot of FREE fuel.
