no, that's the other funny thing, it says 411 and 4111. I thought they went from 410 to 456?

edit: the gear looks brand new, so whatever it is I don't think it's what was in it all along.

The D60 you have appears to be a 3.73 gear (41-11). What does your 14 bolt say? (41-10) is 4.10 and (41-9) is 4.56

Good eye! The gear tag on the outside of the diff cover plate on the front also states 3.73. And I imagine they’re a match set as they both look almost new and the four-wheel-drive seems to work very smoothly between the front and rear axle. The truck spends most of its time in 4wd, I hope I would have noticed something by now. I am going to doublecheck just to make sure. The previous owner probably had the 4.56s and carrier swapped out. Once I get the rear axle secured back under the truck, I’ll rotate the rear tire until I see the stamping. An do a count of tire rotation to driveshaft rotation.

If anyone was lost..... lol
I've been using that one for years... and no one ever questioned or commented. Probably just thought "there goes shiftpro again (roll eyes)".
And this was not the first time I said it here at GMSB.

Of course you didn't see it... you couldn't possibly have seen it... because your goggles DO NOTHING!
