I need to locate mine, for the same reason, time to dig in to the column. Need to replace the sector and rack and clean and grease stuff I didn't get into last time I was in there.

I do that regularly plus check the oil since it looks like a dirty oil rag! I found that it was built in 1949. The No. 212-2 is model # 212 with record of change "ROC" 2. There were 4 versions of the 1st ROC which they started building in 1940. That piston and head unit is the same to this day. The company sent me the manual, part's list, and tank certification. The contact that reached out told me call anytime for information about rebuilding it. 76 years old and still kicking! I had no Idea, Thanks @Frankenchevy
Could you send me that company’s info? My local Quincy didn’t seem too interested in helping me find parts.

I'm using my full size fluid extractor to bleed brakes now. The hand pump just took too much pumping. The extractor is air powered, so I just turn a valve and it sucks!

Such a handy tool. Makes routine fluid exchanges and draining so much easier. Mine is hand pump powered.

I even used it to drain down the cooling system as I took it apart section by section to replace the radiator. I only needed the drain pan to catch about a quart of coolant.

ALSO good for sucking water out of the beer cooler!! :waytogo: :happy160:

And reworked the 'stack' on my compressor to move the shutoff valve up higher, use the large gauge I was give, and to run 1/2" hose from the tank to the regulator/beginning of my airline system. I was using 3/8" hose before.

Picked up a little over $3000 worth of air tools for $700!

Thought maybe they were stolen or complete junk, but I met the guy at his job at a truck shop so, he might of just needed money. I didn't poke too much be he just said it was his backup stuff. Didn't ask farther than that.

Snapon air drill, 1/2 impact and the air hammer and bits. Cornwell die grinder and a Mac long reach cutoff tool.

The air hammer is what I wanted but he wouldn't separate, so I said screw it for the crazy good deal.

Nothing new in the tool dept.!! But I am rebuilding my old Napa 2 ton floor jack. took a little head scratching to get it apart- to get to the guts but It should be simple enough as long as I take a bunch pictures to help with the re- assembly

comes with hooks to hang tools on the side also, but not installed. You can use the cheaper ones that come in a 2 pack, but I'd given the 2nd one to a neighbor because I didn't need it at that time. Live and learn lol.

Fills up fast lol!

milwaukee ratchet
Really suprised how well it works.

I had just gotten my Dewalt ratchet in the mail when my water pump on my 07 Tahoe took a crap. That tool was a life saver saved me a ton of time. Paid for itself in that first job alone.
