Picked up this old compressor. It’s actually pretty quiet.

I have alot of tools for vehicle service. So a new tool needs to be something special to catch my eye. This newer panel removing tool works very well:

This pair of tools I have had a very long time. Not much need for them now, as parts have changed. Any of you young bucks know what they are for?

Yes sir! After having a few 1157 bulb globes bust in your fingers, this was handy. Getting the bulb base out was a breeze too.

What is the Bluepoint tool? It looks familiar, I just can't think what it is.

@Mr Clean that bluepoint tool is just a thin edge pry tool.

They sort of originate from the aircraft world, you can find them under the name 4140 wedge/pry bar/fingernail scraper.

Panel removing tool. Lots of late model Fords I work on, all the plastic dash panels snap in place. For doors where the plastic panel is snapped into the painted metal door, I slip a shop rag under the wedge. No marks on the paint like a screw driver might do.

It's very universal. Great for panels, bezels, mouldings, etc.

This is what I use it looks like a standard flat bar but only 7" long and super slim to slide behind the panel. I've had other specific door panel tools but the were too awkward and thick.

This Quincy compressor pump came with my Ingersoll Rand T30. PO said it was making noise. Disassembled it, then gave up. Waiting to hear back from the local Quincy rep to see if parts are available.
