Got some floor jack stand storage racks from TMR. They had a sale, and I had a credit, so I got them for 30 bucks... I'll powder coat them red, maybe neon green. We'll have to see.

Finished my rear axle rebuild. Didn't want to cheap out or ball out on a dial indicator. Settled for snapon lol, worked great.

I can also recommend the hobo freight Quinn digital calipers, they seemed to hold zero and were fairly accurate.

Then I made a couple of tools as well lol

Case spreader and a pinion yoke tool. Nice to have heavy steel laying around, there's a few hundred bucks saved.

Also heard mixed reviews on many of the yoke tools. I made it out of 1/2inch mild steel, no deforming for me  plus I could add another size yoke on the other end, probably could do another on each side as well for a total of four yokes.

EDIT- just got a new phone after a good few years and apparently the camera is too good and the pictures are too big to upload here lol. I'm not using an app or nothin to change them, will have to remember to change settings for pictures for here.

Will get more pics of the home made tools soon. That's what everyone wants to see anyways lol

That also means my final pattern pics are too big and now the diff is sealed up and driving:emotions122:

It's warming up and I've got several vehicles to get clean.
This little 120v Craftsman pressure washer has really helped tremendously.
Quick to hook up and just enough pressure to get the job done.

Went to HF for a carbide burr set and was shocked to see them for $80 for 4 of them. Decided to look on Amazon and got a 10pc set for $35. Ordered it on the couch Sunday and it was on my doorstep this morning by 6am. These had great reviews, so I feel good about doing that over the Chief's at HF

Working at the Post office we could see the change Ebay first then Amazon! It was like insider trading but didn't have enough funds at the time to invest in either.

Remember when it was just books they were selling
I remember I was in college ~08ish the first time I heard of Amazon. I was buying my books at the school store and a friend of mine told me about Amazon. I remember most of us then thought of Amazon about like we think of Temu now, know alot of people that have bought stuff off there but don't really trust it enough to try it myself lol
