I'm in the process of redoing the interior on my 1973 K10 and I found two issues of concern.
The defrost vent tube that attaches to the top of the HVAC box behind the dash has a huge gap between where it connects to the box. Initially I thought that maybe I just needed to pull it down further and closer to the box. However, there really isn't any slack in it which makes me think something is supposed to go in that gap. Maybe just a foam gasket would work fine, but I want to know if there's a specific part I might be missing.
