Did you put in a replacement for the back window(sliding glass) or just refurbish the mechanism??
I replaced the window assembly. Got it from truck shop in concord NC . Mine was shot . They also have a website. But online orders ship from California

Installed my Forever Sharp steering wheel, along with new instrument bezel. Added factory clock. Shiny new air registers really set it off. Totally love it!

Trucks been acting up when you get on it would cut out pulled the sending unit and tank was pretty clean except for a bit of the old sock in the bottom deleted the sock(have filter inline before the pump one before the carb and one in the carb as I didn't know the tanks condition until now) I also found the vent was completely gunked up with mud cleaned it up with some compressed air and now it runs good again

I was able to keep my original Air cleaner ..after my carb and distributor swap . I am so glad I love the original cleaners and the tall element , oh yeah forgot to mention I used a spacer on top of the carb!

Started engine assembly finally. Very glad I got a pushrod checker because the originals are too long for my application. On top of that, need to find a timing gear puller and need to figure out m cam button situation, as it isn't quite fitting into the cam gear. Or is it? As my brother has decided to start building an extension to the garage loft.

Do you know how to check the actual rocker arm geometry, most people don't even know to check it. Buts it's free horsepower and better valve guide life.

Thanks Rick. And yeah, my dad (the mastermind behind dozens of motor builds) is holding my hand on this one. Wouldn't want it any other way.

Added some fog lights I've had in the garage for years. My late father in law gave them to me. He was a die hard Chevy man. Only fitting they go in this truck. I don't think they will help all that much but they are there.

Went to a couple pick and pull old school junkyards on Wednesday. Guy at one had a really good condition shortbed I’d say 85. Front clip was mostly gone, gave me a real good price on the whole bed ( mines driver side is creased and buckled). He gave us free rein on the place to see if there was anything else we needed. Ended up grabbing a complete passenger door (all glass and panels), a drivers side fender (my door and fender is going to need some rust repair) and a straight and clean hood for less than I could have got a repop fender for. Was a heck of a score.

All the lights working now got it all wrapped up just about, few odds and ends mechanically still but I finally got to drive it around for the first time since June. This is the first time my truck has been one matching color in the 6 years I've been driving it, feels awesome!
