I see you have air horns. :D

I noticed that to, I don't think they work though, or are disconnected or something, maybe parts missing? they came with the truck and I'm gonna yank em outta there, I don't want them.

Haven't done anything really, but I'll probably be selling my 07' Accord here soon and putting some money into the truck to make it into my DD. Thinking new cab corners and rockers, rebuilt suspension, and a home-made paint job (with proper auto paint, however), and maybe some more interior pieces from my 87', since that will be getting all new interior during the restore.

Blacked out my bumpers...for $1.25 cans of paint it didn't turn out to bad.... And the paint was initially for my wheels and it turned out all right

And boom she dropped the ball and he jumped in front of the bus

Pulled those "kicker" shocks off the rear. Since I found out they are the same pn as the steering stabilizer and mine was shot, I swapped one in.

Now you're coming around to my kind of thinking. Saving some cash putting some good parts for FREE where they'll actually do some good. And AC conversion for cheap. But I didn't need to see that pic. Reminded me of needing to get my ass out there and get that heater core replaced. I've been driving the K1500 with the heater core hooked up but it's laying on the passenger side fender well. Not doing me much good there and I hope it's not vibrating on something and wearing a hole into the good core. Maybe me think of those babies who are born with their organs outside of their body.

Been meaning to do this for ahwile:

Pulled wheel well trim and parking lights. Rough sanded with 100g, washed and cleaned with Acetone.

Hit the trim with black Plasti-dip and everything below with Rust-Oleum bedliner. Used Rust-Oleum as it was closest. Wal-Mart is closer than AutoZone and thats what they carry, plus was 1/2 price of Herculiner.

Thanks

None of the hood latch is new, just bead blasted and powdered coated.

powder coated it silver? Looks good. When I did mine i just painted it black to may the underside of my hood and my engine bay but I like that contrast at lot!!

Powdered coated super chrome and the bottom of the hood is Rust-Oleum spray on bed liner. The bolts holding it on are painted silver.
