Started in on the drum brakes. Got it all off and layed out so hopefully I can put it back together right. Lol

Glad I got new cylinders. These are trash. Clean and reassemble.

I'm missing the little concave washer for the back of the pin that holds shoes in place tho.

Guess I'll go get a couple new ones from the parts store.

With as much rust as you have in the that cylinder, flush the brake lines with new fluid before putting it back together, or you are just going to ruin your new parts. Than do a really good brake bleed...It's your life, don't screw around and try to go cheap...

Header install day 1.
Passenger side Camaro/Chevelle/Nova big block header fits like a champ.
Using a later model gear reduction starter will help with heat soak as it is much smaller than the stock old school starter.

Today for part 2, we will work on fitting the driver side header.
Since nobody seems to ever post about putting these headers on a stock manual truck here we go.
Currently the header is bolted up using the front and rear bolt holes and the clutch Zbar fits and works as it should.
It is just close.
We removed the header after marking the rear tube where it needs a bit of torch and hammer work to be 100% sure it will not have any issues.

@TotalyHucked It all depends on the people working there, I guess. Pride in ownership and all that. When I had my shop, my partner was the exhaust guy, but I ALWAYS cleaned up after him, just cause. Kind of anal retentive about my space! Also. looks like a nice job on the system, too!!

I like the placement of the exit pipe.
And how does it sound?

Finally got it looking half decent from about 30 feet! Little man helped me out. Primed it all, almost ready for my budget paint job. Getting rhino liner off....such a pain. Think twice before applying it.

Junior just brought this in to show me.

'Purently the PO didn't like the stupid EGR valve either.
They used a Diet Pepsi can to block it off and also filled the thing with weld.

Ordered tanks for my k3500 and one came in banged up  bottom pushed up so the sump (fi) doesn’t sit flat on the bottom and missing o ring and lock ring. Let the madness begin on filling a clam. Not sure where the used coffee and ice packs came from.
