I'll take almost any, 302 for sure, 327, 283, 350, 400, 383, bigger cubic inch small block.

383 for torque or a 355 for FI and high horsepower. I already have one and will soon start building the other.

Of the ones listed, I like all of them equally. I don't care for the 262, the 267, or the 265 "baby LT1". The original 265 is fine in an original car.
