No problee-mo. Hard to believe they referred to the squarebodies as the "Rounded Line" lol. Says they even used computers and a wind tunnel to help aerodynamics, I think they just found a particular tone of whistle-sound the windows made and said "that's it right there!"

I think the inspiration came from someone shopping for a new washer and dryer. "this style and shape would look bitchin as a truck!"

no, they weren't. Apache was a trim level, much like Cheyenne, Silverado, etc... and it started in 1958.

took the words right out of my keyboard...

Someone posted a picture of a prototype Toyota Tundra Dually on my towns local off road forum and I just about gagged.

Even the new Fords, my wife has been driving a new F-150 and its butt ass ugly. The front of it looks like some mutated transformer gone wrong.

I love my wife's 'new' burb and I like the Newer GMC Sierra's. but overall I'd agree the newer rides just don't look as good...

I also like the looks of the new Tahoes and burbs, but I think i should deceide if i want fender flares on my truck. I don't like the fenders on the new GM trucks.

The do look odd especially the long beds with that bulge over the wheel wells. Just an odd bodyline IMO.
