I’ve got my dash all apart and trying to clean up the wiring. I seen these 2 not plugged into anything. Any idea what they go to? The light is attached to the top of the ashtray but I didn’t see anywhere it goes into.

Awesome. Well I do have the factory radio in it and it works. Could it be for something else?

There’s no spot I feel on the heater control. I plugged it into the back of the right side of my instrument panel like you said turbo

If the heater control has the place to put the light it would be on the end closest to the passenger side. It may not just depends on year after market or stock etc. some interior parts are inconsistent like that at times.

Possible for power out to a power antenna or rear amp. The GM harnesses were were used in in other cars, like a big Caddie or Olds would have a power antenna. A Suburban might have a rear amp.

I ordered my '82 without a radio, it came with no radio harness.

The light in the post #1 needs power. It gets power from the printed circuit on the instrument panel. The heater needs a light with power and ground. Might be the light pictured in post #6.

That link didn’t open for me. I found the wire for the 4x4 light, where does it plug into?

Bottom left of the speedo, IIRC. The only amber light on the cluster.

Gray wire see this post- -post- Fiber optic wire to ash tray.

also- -post-here- shows how it connects on circuit panel- mine is actually top corner-sounds like you might have already connected it to the correct place.

Other plug definitely looks like factory radio - see attachment-
