Im on my way on my to making a 79 block with vortec heads, but Ive noticed that the intake has two inner bolt holes that dont match up with the heads.
Ive got the 906 vortecs
paired with vortec dual plane intake pc-2006

Sounds like you have a TBI intake, not a true Vortec intake. :(

Vortec does not have the bolts in the center of the intake.
Has 2 at each corner.

Those all have the two holes im talking about, they are on only one side of the intake and next to the carb ports. Are they just bolt holes I dont need to use?

Yes they are for ac. Accepts the rear bracket for an A6 compressor. Rarely used these days.
