I'm thinking about getting a set of Vortec Heads for my '87 and some headers. Will i need to get headers that are suppose to mount up to the vortec heads or can i just get some that are made for stock heads?

And what all would i need to change for Vortec heads?

Everything you have now will bolt to the vortec heads, with the exception of the intake manifold. you will also need to run an external EGR tube, and have the chip in the ECM tuned.

contact Westers garage, they may have a tuned chip already. Tuning is a big headache, and a wicked learning curve.
