Hello,
My first post. I just bought a 82 3/4 4x4, $2,000. I see no signs of a lift, but seems high off the ground, is axle under or over the springs stock? As a reference how high off the ground would the stills be? Bought the truck and owner had both fuel tanks filled, that has to be rarity these days. Looking forward to the experience and knowledge members will have to share.
Thanks,
Cam

These trucks are spring over axle, and the 3/4 tons have a little stiffer springs all the way around and sit a little higher than the 1/2 tons. Dad's nearly stock 1/2 ton is I'd say around 16" to the sill, maybe a little less but I know the 3/4s are a good 6" higher. Welcome to the forum!

Data for a suburban, but would be similar. About 4" higher than regular 2wd
