Urethane Filled Motor Mounts

Have any y'all filled your motor mounts with urethane?
What urethane did you use?
Is it worth the effort?

I guess the first question is, what are you trying to accomplish with this? When I was into import racing 15yrs ago, there where a few guys who tried that when the poly mounts were somewhat cost prohibitive. It never really worked as well as you thought it would. If it does stiffen up the mounts, you will get a lot more vibration transmitted through the chassis. Iirc, they were using the good black windshield urethane sealant to pump into the mounts.

Dunno.
I had seen it being done, so I thought I would ask............

It's supposed to firm up stock mounts and prevent them from getting floppy and worn, much like a poly mount. I can see where some mount styles may not benefit from the urethane, but it should work well with the GM clamshell style mount. I've never done it myself, but know a few people that have.
