under hood cab rust

Has anyone dealt with rust on the cab seam behind the engine. Went to look at a truck today and this is the only issue giving me concern. It has light rust in the normal spots.

Rust in the cowl from failed seam sealer and clogged drains. A pain to fix as would probably have to strip the whole cab to get to it. Can probably temp slow down the rust by treating it

Thanks for the info. That makes sense since the truck was parked under trees for years, still got that black/grey residue on the bedsides. I'm going to keep looking.
