My truck is broke. Who would've guessed. Few weeks ago had quite the fun drive, the altenator turn on wire kame dissconeected. Along with the turn on for my fans. So I had no fans for part of my drive and no altenator for almost the whole thing.
Got it back to my shop and it went kaput when I was trying to pull it in, tried to start it back up as one does and it diesiled really really bad and for the 2 seconds it ran my gauge said 4psi oil. (Dakota digital warning thing)
Pushed it into the shop left it for about a week. Came back rewired the altenator and fans they work, tried to start the truck. Did nofthing but crank and crank(very healthy crank). I've got fuel. I can see it squrting in, and smell it.
My local next door car professional said it's the ignition coil. Anyone else have any opinions, it's hei 1979 350 sbc.
Sorry for lack of info, it's all I know. I need it fixed tmr(wed). Because im not going to have my beautiful reliable daily thursday.
