Nope... I just get one of these for my stock pan.... Carquest is usually the only place that I can find that has them normally in stock.... and there less than $5...

Normally they work OK if you torque them properly and use a good gasket. I prefer the Neoprene gaskets over Cork/Rubber. Th350 even has some OEM pans with a drainplug, or get one of those parts that Joe suggests. If you're change is just for a drainplug, then no sense in spending a fortune.

i put one on my 700r4 was around 70 dollars and from b&m, that was a few years ago, it holds an extra two quarts now wich was a bonus

i put one on my 700r4 was around 70 dollars and from b&m, that was a few years ago, it holds an extra two quarts now wich was a bonus

I believe those B&M pans also have some small fins to help with cooling along with the extra 2 quarts so its worth it. Extra cooling will always let a trans last longer. And you get the added benefit of a trans drainplug.

if i ever have a chrome pan, the first thing i do is sand the chrome off of the sealing surface, otherwise, they leak. same with valve covers, oil pans, or timing chain covers.
