Well folks I got a 1987 Chevy v10 with a 5.7, was fuel injected, carbureted now. But that's besides the point. I got the M20 4 speed manual tranny with granny low. And it's shot. Throw or bearings noisey as hell, and I gotta hold the truck in 3rd gear or else when I give it gas to get up to speed it pops out. I'm assuming it needs a full rebuild? Also when it's in gear, or neutral it's so sloppy. Like 6 inches full circle in every gear is the slop. Has anybody rebuilt their tranny's or had them rebuilt ???
