I have an 83 K20 with a rough country lift and super swampers, currently has the stock tie rods/ends but they need replacing.I can get stock for under $100 on rockauto but this isn't the best option for the size of tires and lift I have on the truck. I found a place in Carbondale called off-road designs that has 3 options: 1.25 inch hollow DOM steel with heavy duty ends for $180, 1.5 inch hollow DOM with hd ends for $210 or a solid super strong aluminum that is rod/end all in one for $300. What do you think I should go with?

Do you wheel it? Light or hard?

Right. What is the intended usage? What size are the tires?

Most street driven trucks don't need anything heavier duty that the factory type HD tie rod assembly. That's the one that has a long rod and a short rod, with an adjuster sleeve.
