I would keep them. Many people here disagree with me but I like big ole mud tires and Super Swamper still sells many 16.5s.

I had 16.5's on my 64GMC, my dads 68 Chev and my bros 67 Chev. All were 3/4 tons. Tough as hell trucks. All 3 had 4.56 gears too. There's were coil spring rear ends with the GM Corporate rear end, mine was Leafs with a Dana60 and OEM LSD unit.

It must have been his '69 then. He had a utility bed on it loaded with **** for working on heavy equipment. That truck got it's ass kicked.
He always ran high load class Goodyear truck tires on it.

pretty sure these are 'E' because it has a little blurb on the sidewall about having 5 belts on the sidewall...Had 'E's' last burban as well drove the heck out of it had couple curb encounters of the hard kind turning around over a concrete median and they never gave me an issue
