Only reason i hate it is others made a mess with it.. I pulled a five gallon pail of wire out of this truck.

that's what I ment to say is there's nothing worse than a 35 year old trucks wiring that some backyard yard technician messed with. and good luck finding a totally original 70s Chevy truck that has all original wiring in it anyways

This one will be soon back to all original. I don't just remove the junk wire. I remove the wire that was tapped into and replace it with a wire of the same color and length. I use the factory hard wear at the ends. Then it's clean. Back in the factory clips and plugs. I think i have the underside of the dash done unless i missed one. Now to sort out under the hood. :Insane:

I pulled this mess from behind the rear bumper of my 78.

I did look under the back.. I know there is some kind of mess under there. Looks like someone hacked off a bunch of wires to a trailer plug. I will sort this out soon also.. As i am looking for a hitch for the ole girl.. when i find one i will wire in properly for a plug.
