@78c10bigten There are in fact 2 sizes of arms for camper mirrors. In the 2 pictures I attached before, you can see the bottom of the arm is at or below the bottom of the mirror head. I found a better picture (#1). I don't believe that both ends are threaded though. The 4 screws in the mirror head are for internal straps that clamp to the pipe for tension. I attached the second picture which are aftermarket. Those do have threads at both ends.

@ajdemello he has the 3 point camper mirrors. Those have the short arm like my old '87 did. Picture 3.
