I'm in need of a new tach and was wondering what the general consensus was for the smaller sized tachs? Any good ones that stand out? It's already determined I cannot afford the $200+ Proparts Spek tach with built-in rev limiter and shift light (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PPL-334228/
), but I like the looks of Summit's offering...

It's 3-1/2" in diameter so I'll have to cut some on the dash. (future re-design of the dash/instruments mod??? Hmmm...) Those who know me know that's not something I'm afraid of, the dash is already hacked pretty badly. But at $50 is seems pretty affordable if it is a durable unit. If anyone has any others to suggest post up! As long as they dont break the bank!
