Thought I drop a line.

Swapped over an LS6/4L60e combo into a SWB 82’ K10. Been going at it with this swap for the good part of 4 years now. Still not satisfied with how things are and I am constantly switching things around and looking for new ideas. Anyhow, here a recent of the outside and engine bay.

Thank you. I’ve already put about 4K miles on the truck since the swap was completed.

It’s been a crazy ride since then when I started figuring out all the small details and what not.

Thats what makes you go crazy.

I'm in the planning / tear down stage of my swap and I wanted to use the OEM fuse box for quickness and ease but now I'm about ready to tear into the harness and strip it down. I'll decide once the engine is actually out.

What did you do for a fuse panel?

Yea man the real time taker is working out the small stuff.

When I went back and tore into the harness, I found out my initial set up was a ticking electrical time bomb. So many critical wire were too close to my headers. Way...too...CLOSE! Lol

I ended up going with a nice braided loom Current Performance stand-alone harness. That comes with a fuse/relay box. A real nice one too. I then fed the harness into the cab through the large 1.5”-2” grommet where the original HEI wiring used to go through
