6.2 is out that was a pain in the ass!!!!!

Ok so what do I do with all these extra freaking wires???? What wires go to my new HEI dist ?

Also I was planning on reusing the pw steering pump but I F!*k!d up and left the pw steering resivor on the 6.2 and it's long gone !! Can I use a pump that has the resivor built into the pump?

Wish I would have seen this earlier, I have a complete 454 in a 89 r3500 I would sell, it has all the brackets with it. I want to put in a small block anyway.

Yes It is the 6.2J. My plans are to round up all the parts I need to do the swap,. Alond with getting my 454 rebuilt then do the swap over a weekend. But with my luck I'm sure I will run into some snags and it will take me a week or two.

My engine is at the machine shop. They just called me yesterday and told me I have one cracked head. So this build isn't starting out so well. At least everything else checked out ok.

What do you think my 6.2 is worth ? The truck only has 82,000 original miles on it.

I'm thinking about selling my 454 too. I really want the Olds 455 in that truck, and I"m running out of time to get things accomplished. Not sure what it's worth though. I just know it has to be under 50K miles on it, probably closer to 40K.
