Stock 1980 K10 wheel options

I recently aquired an 80 K10. The truck is pretty nicely restored to fully stock. I want to go with something like a Summit Alumarally or its vision counterpart in an 18x8 but I am unsure the wheels will fit. I am struggling to find out what I can run on this truck. It looks like the extra backspacing will interfere with the steering knuckle. Does anyone have experience and maybe some photos of a 17-18" wheel that will fit on the stock truck? New to this world so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that’s a before pic. That beige primer could be from an old repaint. Our 86 had that primer under what was likely a single warranty type repaint early in its life. I did not like it. Too soft. Could peel even the old crusty top coat off in flakes or ribbons if heated up.
Get rid of it before painting.
Wheels, generally slightly positive to 0 offset will work just fine. Although I question if you’re looking at the right wheels if they have big positive offsets.

That said there are guys running them old GM PYO aluminum wheels on squares with out issue.
They’re really narrow but have a big + backspacing/offset and they seem to work.
But just do it the for sure way. Measure whatever clearances you’re concerned about with your existing rims and tires and compare that tire size and offset to whatever the new fit you want will be.
They’re internet makes it where you don’t even need to do math for the most part.
But 2 sketches side by side isn’t difficult and you have the certainty.
