I am looking for a single coupler bearing for the intermediate steering shaft in my 86. This is the little square bearing that goes in the very top of the shaft, pictured below. When I took mine apart I found one had broken apart. Please let me know what you have!

Wreckers probably best bet. Or Mr Clean's. I tried to find a kit for it this summer but no luck.

I need a rubber seal for mine

If somebody knows where to get a rebuild kit....Do share!

Well then I've got some magic news for you. I was comparing the shaft from my C30 to the one from my 80 Camaro and found that, other than the rag joint, and upper bearing cover thingy the shafts are identical. With that in mind, I realized that the boot I used on my Camaro shaft should work well on this one. So here are a few shots of my Camaro shaft:

You can see the similarities. The boot worked really well. Here is the part I used for the boot. Its actually off of a Jeep, but it should work well here too. I just ordered another one off fleabay for $6!

On Summit for about $11:

How much you want for it? I really only need the bearing, but if you want to get rid of the whole thing I might go for it. Let me know.

I have the bearing you need, pay for the shipping and its yours. I am guessing a few bucks. Just PM me if you want it.

Sorry I actually found a new set. Turns out a company makes them for Jeeps and they fit our stuff too. I made a thread in the steering section about it. Thanks though!!!
