on my 77 crew cab I unhooked the sway bar it helped on the ride a little but would rock from side to side . so I hooked mine back up . I could tell a difference in the ride. also I have done installed 4 different steering gears on my truck and just cant find one that works like it is supposed to . I have a 79 k30 with 38s on it and I can turn it with one finger all but one of the steering gears came from napa one would pop when turning and one would be hard to steer to the left but ok to the right the even sent me a brand new new style gear not reman. it list for over 700 bucs put it on and it has slack from side to side I just got another one to try its a reman too its been hell trying to get a one to work I have had to put them on by myself and it aint easy
