Ok so in a bit of a bind. I had replaced the both headgaskets and the engine was running pretty good. was a b**** to start sometimes. Well I ensured the distr was set correct to TDC. Ensure no binds in fuel line. Ended up replacing the stock Carb cause it seemed to be flooding the spark plugs, and sometimes would spit fuel. Carb that I replaced it with was a 1405 Edelbrock. With the edelbrock adapter plate to mount onto the intake. I had to remove the EGR valve that was on the valve cover and sealed it. Prior to replacing the head gasket there was nothing connected to the EGR. Might be something im overlooking, might not be. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
