Does anybody know where I can get a new front spring perch for the front leaf spring on a 1976 k10. Lmc does not carry it. I will send pics when I get home from work.

Can you use a rear spring perch (like from a flip kit/lowering kit)?

Aside from being rusty I can't see anything wrong either.

yeah I can't see a problem. unless that's a crack above the bolt. if it is that's an easy fix. highdesertranger

Has the bolt been moving around? I'd just weld it up where needed, grind it smooth, and install a new bolt.

From the pic it looks like the bolt wallowed the hole. You can see that the rust is orange around the bolt. A welder and grinder would make short work of that fix.

Well first that's a spring hanger not a perch. I do believe LMC sells those actually. You will want to research how to replace frame rivets with a bolt. Otherwise you could have more problems.

Have you thought about welding the hole up and then using a round file to make the hole what it should be? That's probably a lot easier then changing out that hanger. Or welding an appropriately sized piece of metal to the outside of the hanger for the bolt to ride in?

Thanks and thought about each idea. I just found a used set from an 80 model today I am going to look at. And Lmc does not sell them anymore.

...like a washer of the appropriate size...
