Sport Mirrors

I purchased a reproduction set of the square sport mirrors for my 73. Can someone post a pic of where on the door they are supposed to be mounted? I currently have a crappy set of Ford mirrors on it now.

@custodian how is the quality of your mirrors? From where you buy? How mush you pay? Details are appreciated. @Mr Clean is teasing me.

Quality is great. I bought them from Classic Parts Of America out of Kansas City, MO. I paid $87.89, for 2, and that included the shipping, item #58-123 and the mounting brackets came with it. I didn't care for the mounting screws, felt they were to small, so I used my own screws.

I gave my truck to my oldest granddaughter and I'm removing the sport mirrors to put the bigger mirrors on for her to "see" more. I need to know where the proper mounting location is on both doors for the bigger mirrors.

Make sure to install the reinforcement bar that's depicted in the above diagram (dashed lines). You will get vibration if not. LMC now carries them. Part # 38-5882 & 38-5883.
